Average Daily Balance dividends are paid on all accounts except share draft accounts. Regular Shares and Special Deposit account dividends will be calculated on balances over $50. Dividend rates are based on the credit union's earnings at the end of the dividend period which is monthly and cannot be guaranteed.

You may receive a cash advance at the credit union office up to your credit limit on ANY VISA card you hold.

Accounts that allows a member to deposit up to $2000 or $2250 into a retirement plan. We offer traditional IRAs, Roth and Educational IRAs. Deposits may be made by payroll deduction or cash/check and are accepted in any amount up to the maximum. Members with pension plans should consult with their financial advisor or tax accountant to determine if the IRA will be allowed as a tax credit for income tax report purposes. Remember, if you choose to deposit and your income is not tax deductible, your dividends are still tax deferred.

Checking accounts called share drafts because the member does not receive the original draft back, but produces a carbon when writing the original. No minimum balance, no service charge, no per-draft fee. Deposits or withdrawals to or from your account may be made by insurance companies or mortgage companies automatically without physically writing a share draft. (See ACH). This saves stamps, envelopes, drafts, and remembering to pay a bill or send a deposit. ATMs and Check Cards allow instant access to your money. You can even reorder your checks on line with Liberty and Cooperatives Federal Credit Union.
The "painless way to save". If money is taken out of your payroll check and sent to the credit union., you do not have it to spend and it accumulates in your account/s. Deposits may be in any amount, for any specified time and split into any account you wish including family member's accounts.

Company payroll checks and Government recurring checks such as Social Security checks or military reserve checks are made through direct deposit. Money is received by the credit union office and credited to your account by electronic transfer. Saves time, cost, and possible theft from your mailbox. See ACH for payroll deposits.
Electronic transfers made through the Federal Reserve System. No check is issued but money is received by the credit union to credit your account or notice is received to withdraw from your account (mortgage payments or insurance payments on a monthly basis). See share drafts.
Allows you to access your money close to home. At machines displaying Cirrus, Magic Line, or Share System logos: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and making balance inquiries are possible with ATM cards. ATM's are fast, easy, and convenient.
Anyone related to you by blood or marriage regardless of residence may join your credit union. This includes children, parents, grandchildren, grandparents, spouses, in-laws, etc.
If you leave the field of membership, but keep your account open, you remain a member. If you close your account, you may no longer qualify to reopen membership in the future.

Member-pay credit disability insurance is available on all loan types. For a small premium, the loan payment amount would be paid directly to the credit union after the 31 st day of disability.
Member-pay credit life insurance is available on all loan types.

Statements are mailed to your home monthly if you have a share draft account or if you make funds transfers electronically and quarterly if you have any account other than a share draft.

Money may be wired by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to another financial institution or received by EFT to our credit union.
The credit union accepts information on loans, share draft reorders, etc. by fax. Information may be sent to members via fax also.

Credit Line Loans and Overdraft Protection loans up to a maximum of $10,000 (total unsecured limit cannot exceed $10,000 per member). Secured loans on serial-numbered or titled items with no maximum limit. C.A.L.L. (Cooperative Auto Lease Like Loan) loans on vehicles. Share secured loans with no maximum loan limit. May make withdrawals, transfers, balance inquiries, obtain information on draft clearing and loan rates, etc. May also inquire and transfer from one account to another such as a child's account to your account.
